Working closely with the main contractor appointed to the Stevenage Regeneration Programme, Sperling Build carried out upgrade works across a 16-block scheme. The existing timber soffits were removed and replaced with robust, fire-resistant Magply boards to enhance safety and durability.
Due to restricted access and the temporary installation of the Oxford stair system, the works were carefully programmed and delivered within strict time constraints. The boards were fully taped and jointed before being finished with an oil-based, one-hour fire-rated paint, ensuring a compliant and high-quality result completed swiftly and efficiently.
