Lyme Road – House Refurbishment

PROJECT SUMMARY

When the client purchased this property, it had been left in poor condition by the previous owner, requiring extensive renovation to restore it into a livable space. All ground floor reception rooms were fully stripped of old wallpaper and freshly painted, while the worn and mouldy carpets were replaced with new hardwood flooring to bring a clean and modern feel. Upstairs, the bedrooms were redecorated and fitted with new carpets, and the bathroom was upgraded with fresh tiles and modern sanitary fittings.

In addition to refurbishing the original structure, a double-storey extension was constructed to include a spacious new kitchen and downstairs WC, giving the client a bright, open-plan living area full of natural light. Sperling Build installed both the kitchen and bathroom to a mid-range specification, using materials selected by the client. We also carried out all heating works, including fitting underfloor heating and installing a new MegaFlow boiler, completed by one of our certified Gas Safe engineers.
